The Why Not Gallery მოხარულია წარმოგიდგინოთ თორნიკე ბენდელიანის პირველი სოლო გამოფენა საქართველოში ‘თორმეტი მოქმედება’.

ხელოვანის ‘შინაგანი პეიზაჟის’ რაციონალიზაციისა და ენობრივ ჩარჩოებში დაქვემდებარების მცდელობა, მხოლოდ ‘მიხვდომის’ ილუზიას ქმნის და არ გვაახლოებს ჭეშმარიტებასთან. მისი შემოქმედება ტექსტით კი არ იხსნება, არამედ ივსება. ნამუშევრები გამოცხადებაა, რომელიც კომპოზიციითა და კონსტრუქციით სრულყოფილ სიმბოლოდ გარდაიქმნება და ითხოვს უნიკალურ მიდგომას. ბეტონის ჩარჩოებში მოქცეული ფიგურები განცალკევებულად უნდა აღიქმებოდეს; ეს არ არის წარმოდგენა, ნარატივი ან ილუსტრაცია. მხატვრობა დამოუკიდებლად მოქმედებს.
ამ შემთხვევაში, ჩვენ არ ვუყურებთ მხოლოდ ‘ხელოვნების ნაწარმოებს’, არამედ იმას, რაც დევს მის გარეთ. თორნიკე ბენდელიანის მხატვრული ენა თითოეული ინდივიდის სუბიექტურ გამოცდილებას გარდაქმნის ერთიან ობიექტურ გამოცდილებად და გვაახლოებს საკუთარი თავის გადალახვასთან.

The Why Not Gallery is glad to present Tornike Bendeliani’s first solo show in Georgia ‘Twelve Actions’.
Attempting to subordinate the artist's ‘inner landscape’ to the constraints of language and rationalisation will only yield illusions of possession and will not bring us any closer to the truth. Bendeliani’s works can be complemented by text, but not explained by it. They are a revelation, with their composition and construction culminating in an absolute Symbol.
Being such, they demand a unique approach. The figures, arranged in concrete frames, are meant to be examined within their isolated field of action. There is no representation, narrative, or illustration here. Painting acts independently. Through the skilful technique of isolation, Tornike creates an Image that is greater than itself.
In this case, we are not merely looking at a ‘work of art’ but rather, at what lies outside of it. Tornike Bendeliani's artistic language transforms each individual's subjective experience into a unified objective experience, imparting the presence of the sacred, bringing us closer to transcending ourselves.
