David Natidze

დავით ნათიძე (დ.1969) ბელგიაში მოღვაწე მოქანდაკეა. მან დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამხატვრო აკადემია 1994 წელს, ქანდაკების ფაკულტეტი და განათლება გააგრძელა ანტვერპენის სახვითი ხელოვნების სამეფო აკადემიაში.
ნათიძის ნამუშევრების შთაგონების წყარო ხშირად ბუნებრივი ფორმებია, რომელსაც ხელოვანი აბსტრაგირებს და ბუნებრივი ქვის ნაჭრებს მინიმალისტური ჟესტით მეტად დახვეწილ და ნატიფ ქანდაკებად გადააქცევს. მისი ნამუშევრები აქტიურად იფინება როგორც საქართველოში, ასევე ევროპაში. იგი აქტიურად მუშაობს ქანდაკების რესტრავრაციაზეც და არაერთი მნიშვნელოვანი მონუმენტის აღდგენაზე აქვს ნამუშევარი. 2008 წლიდან იგი ასწავლის ატელიე შილდერჰოფში (Atelier Schildershof in Schilde), ბელგია.


David Natidze (b. 1969) is a Belgium-based sculptor. He graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of the Fine Arts in 1994, the Faculty of Sculpture and continued his education at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. The source of inspiration for Natidze's works often derives from natural forms, which the artist abstracts and transforms pieces of natural stone into highly refined and delicate sculptures.
His works are actively exhibited both in Georgia and Europe. He also takes on restoration projects and has restored many important monuments around Europe. Since 2008 he has been teaching at Atelier Schildershof in Schilde, Belgium.
