The Why Not Gallery and 4710 are glad to invite you for Ana Chaduneli solo show. The exhibition consists of an immersive installation where the artist aimed to create mutually exclusive sensations of being indoors and outdoors. The mysterious environment that plays on this ambivalence, is an attempt to erase a line between private and public.
Ana Chaduneli was born in Rustavi (Georgia), in 1990. She studied at the Faculty of Architecture, Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 2013. She then graduated from an informal master’s course at the Centre of Contemporary Art - Tbilisi (CCA). . In 2019 she completed her master’s degree from KASK school of arts Ghent, Belgium. She has participated in exhibitions both in Georgia and abroad, including Villa Arson, Nice, France (2013), Kyiv Biennial (2015), parallel program of Istanbul Biennial (2015), Kunstverein Leipzig (Germany) in 2015 in the frames of the exhibition Spontaneous Fireworks, the Museum of Goch (Germany) in 2017 in the frames of the exhibition Tavidan. She was a resident (A.I.R.) in Zurich and Norway. In In 2014 she was awarded with Tsinandali price in visual arts.
The why not gallery და 4710 წარმოგიდგენთ ხელოვან ანა ჩადუნელის სოლო გამოფენას. შოუ წარმოადგენს ერთ მთლიან ინსტალაციას, სადაც ხელოვანმა შიდა და გარე სივრცეებში ყოფნის ურთიერთგამომრიცხავი შეგრძნებების შექმნა სცადა. მისტიური გარემო, რომელსაც ეს ამბივალენტობა ქმნის, პირადსა და საჯარო სივრცეებს შორის ხაზის წაშლის ერთგვარი მცდელობაა.
ანა ჩადუნელი დაიბადა რუსთავში, 1990 წელს. 2013 წელს მან დაამთავრა თბილისის სამხატვრო აკადემია, არქიტექტურის ფაკულტეტი. შემდეგ გაიარა არაფორმალური სამაგისტრო კურსი თბილისის თანამედროვე ხელოვნების ცენტრში (CCA-Tbilisi). 2019 წელს მან დაამთავრა მაგისტრატურა კასკის ხელოვნების სკოლაში, გენტი, ბელგია. ანას მონაწილეობა მიუღია მრავალ გამოფენაზე საქართველოში და მის ფარგლებს გარეთ, მათ შორის ვილა არსონი, ნიცა, საფრანგეთი (2013), კიევის ბიენალე (2015), სტამბულის ბიენალეს პარალელური პროგრამა (2015),‘სპონტანური ფოიერვერკები’, ლაიფციგის კუნსტვერაინი (2015), ‘თავიდან’, გოჰის მუზეუმი, გერმანია (2017). ანას გაუკეთებია რეზიდენციები (A.I.R.) ცურიხსა და ნორვეგიაში. 2014 წელს მან მოიგო წინანდლის პრემია ვიზუალური ხელოვნების დარგში.
