Nata Varazi (b. 1991) is a young self-taught painter. Although she is from an artistic family, her primary education is in law. But her sophistication, immaculately chosen colors and her yearning for perfection questions the need to have a professional art degree in order to work as an artist. In her artworks, Nata's interest in the art historical canon is evident, especially influences of the surrealist movement. In her paintings, it is especially interesting how currently relevant themes are fused with traditional forms of expression. The first public presentation of Nata's painting was at the 'Sorry, no flowers here' show held at The Why Not Gallery
